Hilarious play about gay parenting - And Baby Makes Seven! [15 Sep 2009|01:15pm]

maladr1n
Jobsite Theater starts their 2009-10 season on Sept. 24 with Pulitzer Prize winner Paula Vogel's hilarious and touching And Baby Makes Seven!

In order to move forward in their newly-found adult responsibilities as parents-to-be, Ruth and Anna (a lesbian couple) and Peter (the live-in gay father of their unborn child) struggle with killing off the imaginary children who are dominating their lives.

The results are a laugh-laden and poignant piece of theater that borrows plot points and dialogue from a hodgepodge of literary and cinematic sources, including Shakespeare, Peter Pan and The Exorcist that's sure to provoke discussion and furrow the brows of more literal-minded observers. Is the excessive role-playing merely pet games or genuine psychotic breaks? What's the real relationship between Peter, Anna and Ruth? Will the imaginary children be exorcised, or will they find a way to stay?

For more information on the show, visit Jobsite Theater online! There is a specially priced preview performance on Sept. 23, with all tickets priced at $10. Students, seniors and military may purchase $5 rush tickets that night as of 30 minutes to curtain with cash and a valid ID. Student/senior/military rush tickets to all other performances are $10.

My  partner need help.

We're wondering if ANYONE knows where we can marry in a state that is legal in another state...not civil unions.

Please, can anyone help us?

San Fran does not accept gay marriages, Mass only accepts if we live there for more than 14 months, where we don't live.

Can anyone help us?

Apartment Available for Sub Leasing [29 Apr 2006|01:21pm]

tylernathaniel
Hey there guys.

I have an apartment available for subleasing... this is the skivy:

--1600 square feet
--3 bedroom, 2 bath
--Unfurnished room, so you are welcome to bring your own furniture
--Rent: $500/month (includes rent, water, cable/internet, electricity, garbage pick up, etc).
--Available immediately

The reason is... my mother has been undergoing some tests, and she may have breast cancer. I'm trying to find someone to sublease so I can move home and take care of the family.

I live with two of my best friends, and while I'm very sad to leave them, I must.

If you would like more information, then please leave a comment and I'll be sure to get back to you, or you can contact me yourself at:

E-mail: anxietycafe@bellsouth.net
AOL/AIM: Absolvere
Cell: 386.338.1234

Hopefully someone out there would like to finish out the rest of my lease (as of right now, 13 months) and maybe find a great place to live in the deal. =D

Thanks!

--Ty
